The Dimpsey Chronicles is a young reader fiction novel set in present day Nigeria and it is the first in a series which Chronicles the Life and times of five-year-old Efeturi Johnson fondly called Dimpsey. A fifth child born when her parents thought they had finished having children, Dimpsey believes that as the smallest person in the house she can get away with anything. Blessedd with a cute set of dimples which she always flashes in a smile each time she gets into trouble, Dimpsey soon learns that for every wrong action there is a consequence which a dimpled smile will not flash away.
