Mell and Will three-in-one phonics book series are three story books of four or more words, including diagraphs and diphones for ages 4 – 5 The phonics books are especially designed for children who have just been introduced to reading. The books are categorized into three difficulty levels to afford the young reader easy access to understanding and reading the books. The books are designed in a graduated three different difficulty levels. They are good introductory books, introducing children to story reading.
By reading the books in this series, the child learns to blend quite a number of words. He/she learns to blend words with more than three letters. This will enhance their comprehension of, and reading in English language. When children learn to blend words, they tend to improve in their language development skills which they continue to develop at the language acquisition stage of their life; as word-blending gives them ample opportunity to read independently at their own pace. Thus, making it fun and interesting to pick books to read without being chastised to do so.
